Brett Nicholson is
a graphic designer, writer, and web-person in
central Florida.
Brett is a
playwright and lyricist, and alumnus of the
BMI-Lehman Engel Musical Theatre Workshop in New
York. Visit the writing page for samples.
Brett has been with
Walt Disney Entertainment for over 15 years, as a
puppeteer, performer, designer, and writer. In his
role with Disney Character Programs and
Development, he is responsible for creative
communications including graphic design, marketing
materials, presentations, video production,
creative content development, and performer
training.
Brett's approach
blends clean, simple design with strong visual
elements like color and icons. He loves organizing
large blobs of information into user-friendly
designs. Got a blob of your own? Bring it
on.
Note: Due to the
internal and proprietary nature of the materials,
design work for Disney is not featured in Brett's
online portfolio.
Brett is a web
designer, including the sites for his own shows and
projects. You can see some examples in the
web section. He also creates and
maintains his own web worlds.
He writes, designs, and maintains brettLabs, a massively cool website dedicated to helping regular people understand their computers.
